Managing Cloud Licenses

Cloud Licenses are managed differently to Software Keys, with Graphisoft introducing a new Company Management site.

Cloud Licenses vs Software Keys:

Cloud licensing differs from Software Licensing methods, allowing users to switch between different devices without needing to Upload and Download licenses manually using the License Manager Tool.

Graphisoft Company Management for Cloud Licenses

Cloud Licenses are managed separately to Software Keys in the Graphisoft Company License Pool at graphisoftid.graphisoft.com:

Selecting Cloud Licenses will take you to a new Company Management site:

This is where Members and Groups for Cloud Licenses are now managed.

Licenses can be filtered 3 different ways:

1. View by Products – Shows all licenses based on the available products of your subscription. 

2. View by Members – Shows all available licenses grouped by current assignees. 

3. View by Groups – Shows all available groups that members are part of and the licenses in each group.

Assign Licenses to Company Members

Select ‘Assign New’ for a Company Member in the ‘Cloud Licenses’ section:

Select the license, then click ‘Assign’:

The license will activate once the user logs into Archicad with their Graphisoft ID:

Floating Licenses

Cloud licenses can be ‘floating’, allowing licenses to be used without assigning them to specific users.

A cloud license becomes a floating license if assigned to a Group in the Graphisoft Company Pool.
