We've just released Ci Sites 4.26, which includes a number of new features based on Landscaping and Planting.
This update is available for Archicad 28, and can be installed, as usual, via the Ci Tools Installer.
Some of the new features include:
- New options for the existing library of 240 Cutout Plant objects - allowing you to easily randomise their size, change the way they display based on their Type (tree, shrub, or ground cover), and visualise Tree protection and Structural root Zones
- New labelling options to allow you to label specific plants, areas of plants, or clusters of plants with ease, and to nicely align those labels once placed
- and New Model View options to control how all of the above are displayed, on a per-view basis
We also expanded some of the existing features, such as:
- The option to automate placing down plants to fill up a fill area
- ...and to do the same along a line as well
- A function to adjust selected elements (plants) to sit on top of the surface of a mesh
- and a function to Randomly deselect elements - so you can easily swap out random selections of plants to other plant objects
We have some Sample Planting Schedule available now as well - you can modify these to do whatever you like, obviously, but these may give you a good starting point. Let us know what you think!
