Once you've installed Archicad using the silent install methods https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/knowledgebase/25816/
You'll need to install the Ci Tools.
Silents installations for the Ci Tools are not supported at this stage, however, you can create an installation script and manually create the folder of the Ci Tools.
To have the Ci Tools you need the following folders.
Ci Tools Add-on Folder
- Windows: C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD [Version]\Add-Ons\
- MacOS: Finder\Applications\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD [Version]\Add-Ons\
Ci Library [Version] Folder
- Windows: C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD [Version]\ArchiCAD Library [Version]\
- MacOS: Finder\Applications\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD [Version]\ArchiCAD Library [Version]\
Ci Tool Extras Folder
- Windows: C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD [Version]\
- MacOS: Finder\Applications\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD [Version]\
In addition to the folders, you'll need two (2) .xml files for the work environment
Ci Tools Toolbox [version].xml
- Windows: C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD [Version]\Defaults\ARCHICAD\WorkEnvironment\Tools
- MacOS: Finder\Applications\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD [Version]\Defaults\ARCHICAD\WorkEnvironment\Tools
Ci Tools Profile [version].xml
- Windows: C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD [Version]\Defaults\ARCHICAD\WorkEnvironment\Profiles
- MacOS: Finder\Applications\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD [Version]\Defaults\ARCHICAD\WorkEnvironment\Profiles
You need to copy & paste those folders & to the 2 .xml files into the other workstations to run the tools. The students should select the Ci Tools Profile to have the Ci Tool in their work environment.
