The process of removing a property from an element is the same as any other trait, but there is an important difference in how the add-on achieves this. Properties are associated with elements on the basis of their classification – therefore, the only way to remove a property from an element is to change the classification it is associated with, i.e. by removing the property to the classification.
Quantities doesn’t do this because it’s destructive, i.e. the property values associated with many other elements may be silently lost. Therefore, the add-on sets the property value to undefined rather than removing it – in effect, the result is the same.
Properties can be removed from multiple elements simultaneously.
