4.2.3 How to view and restore deleted recipes

Because accidental or mistaken bill item deletion could have serious implications for the calculated BoQ, the add-on has some features that simplify the process of identifying and correcting this problem. For example, a deleted recipe manually linked to an element will be highlighted in red in the Settings dialog or Quantities Info palette.

The software also maintains a history of deleted recipes to facilitate recovery. Select either of the following in the Status menu (item 3f in the illustration) to allow previously deleted recipes to be visible:

• All: Both active and deleted recipes are shown (deleted recipes are displayed in italics)
• Deleted: Only deleted recipes are shown

When a deleted recipe is selected, the Delete button changes to Restore, and clicking it restores the recipe(s) to normal use.

Set the Status menu to Current to resume viewing active recipes only.
