4.3.1 How to create a simple 'counting' recipe

The steps are numbered in the following illustration:

1. Open the Quantity Take-off Manager by clicking the menu item CI Tools > Quantities > Manage Quantity Take-off and click the Recipes tab.
2. Click New to create a new recipe and enter a name, e.g. Example recipe
3. Select a bill item from the list to the left
4. Click the Attach button to add this bill item to be measured by the recipe
5. Enter just the number 1 in the Quantity= field. This simply means that 1 is added to the total for every element this recipe is attached to.
6. Click OK to accept the recipe addition.
