3.3.1 Performance Notes

The metadata palette displays all property values, even when calculated by expression. There may be times when the palette refresh causes a noticeable lag, depending on:

• The number of properties;
• The complexity of the property expressions;
• The number of selected elements.

If the delay becomes noticeable and property values are not required, click the Properties disclosure triangle to collapse the panel. Property evaluation will become inactive and normal speed will resume.

 

There is no need to close the palette.
