5.2.2 How to limit the bill calculation to selected elements

The Scope menu (item 2a in the illustration) determines the scope of the elements contributing to the schedule when the Calculate button is clicked:

• Entire Project: All elements in the entire project

• Current Selection: Only currently selected elements (from any view into the project model)

Note that this has no effect after the schedule has been calculated. To effect a change, click Calculate. This is automatically set to Current Selection when the palette is activated from the Quantity Info palette (by clicking ).
