Click the Export button (item 2c in the illustration). A standard file navigation dialog will be displayed prompting for the name, type and location of the export schedule. Two file types are supported:
Quants The native BoQ file format for the Quantities add-on. This format is the most comprehensive and reliable, and is therefore strongly recommended in most circumstances. The content is XML, and a schema is available on request to anyone wishing to read this format, but the content is reasonably self-evident.
CSV Standard CSV, well-suited for interoperability with spreadsheets and some databases. Exported as comma-delimited, all data is enclosed in speech marks and the first row contains the following column names:
