Partitions may be inserted into a cabinet to divide it into units and modules, and to add shelves and horizontal dividers within modules. In order to use the CI Cabinet tool effectively, you need to understand how to work with partitions.
On the Modules page, you can:
- Set the width and height of a selected module.
- Split a selected module into even spacings, using either horizontal or vertical partitions.
- Remove partitions.
To access these functions, click on the first of the four edit mode icons that head the module settings.
Note that partitions may also be added, removed and moved graphically.

Set Module Width or Height
Setting the module's width in the Settings dialog is equivalent to moving the left or right bounding partition. Similarly, setting the module's height is equivalent to moving the top or bottom bounding partition.
Set Module Width
Select a module. The module's current width will be displayed.
Choose how the width should be measured - from either the left or the right.
Enter the desired module width.
If you chose to measure the module width From Left, the right, bounding partition will move. If you chose to measure the module width From Right, the left, bounding partition will move.
Set Module Height
Select a module. The module's current height will be displayed.
Choose how the height should be measured - from either the top or the base.
Enter the desired module height.
If you chose to measure the module height From Top, the bottom, bounding partition will move. If you chose to measure the module width From Base, the top, bounding partition will move.
In this example, I wanted three 150mm deep drawers, and one larger drawer at the bottom. So I can proceed to change the drawer depths one by one.
