Use the Ci Roof Covering Label to display the roof pitch and optional area.
Label Roof Coverings in Plan View
1. Open the default Label Settings dialog, and select the Ci Roof Pitch Label.
Set the label to place with no pointer, and click OK.
2. In the Info Box, set the label Geometry Method to Associative.
3. In plan view, click to place the label onto a roof covering.
The label is placed at the correct orientation, and displays the pitch angle and roof area.
4. Click to place labels onto other roof planes.
Change the Arrowhead Size
If you want to change the arrowhead size:
1. Select the labels in plan view.
2. Open their Settings dialog.
3. Set the Arrow to have Custom Size, and set the Arrowhead Size.
Remove the Roof Area Text
If you want to display the roof pitch only:
1. Go to the Document menu and choose Model View > Model View Options.
2. Open the Ci Coverings tab.
3. Set the Roof > Label > Show Area setting to Off.
In plan view, the labels will update to display the roof pitch only.
Label Roof Coverings in Section/Elevation Views
In Section/Elevation views, use the same label to indicate the roof pitch.
1. Open the default Label Settings dialog, and select the Ci Roof Pitch Label. Set the label to place with no pointer, and click OK.
2. In the Info Box, set the label Geometry Method to Associative.
3. In section/elevation view, click to place the label onto a roof covering.
The label will be placed at some distance from the point you clicked.
4. Drag the label to the desired location.
