When you place a roof covering onto an Archicad roof, all gutter edges are drawn without downpipes.
You can add up to two downpipes for each length of gutter. If you want to add more than two downpipes on a length of gutter, add a node to the roof edge.
To add a downpipe:
-
In plan-view, click to select the roof covering.
-
At either end of each length of gutter, you will see an adjustable hotspot. Pick it up and drag it into the gutter.
A downpipe will appear at the hotspot position.
To move the downpipe:
-
In plan-view, click to select the roof covering.
-
Move the hotspot at the downpipe position to re-position the downpipe.
To adjust the downpipe length:
-
In a 3D, Section or Elevation view, click to select the roof covering.
-
At the base of the downpipe, you will see an adjustable hotspot. Pick it up and drag it up or down to adjust the downpipe length.
To change the downpipe's diameter or shape:
-
Select the roof covering.
-
Open the Settings dialog.
-
On the Downpipes page, choose the shape and set the size of the downpipe.
To remove the downpipe:
-
Select the roof covering.
-
Move the downpipe's position hotspot beyond the extent of the gutter.
