Twinmotion 2023.1 is here!

If you purchased Twinmotion within the last 12 months, you can download Twinmotion 2023.1 from your Epic Games launcher as a free upgrade. And, for one last time, we’re also extending the free upgrade to all owners of a Twinmotion license, regardless of purchase date. We hope you enjoy this release!

In this release, Twinmotion’s UI gets a makeover, with not just a fresh new look, but easier access to settings that reduces the number of clicks and makes you even more productive.

There are also new templates that provide a quick and easy starting point for your visualizations, including multiple camera views; simply drop in your asset and you’re ready to go.

Eagerly anticipated enhancements to the Path Tracer include support for decals and volumetric fog, as well as improved sky rendering. In addition, transparent objects now render correctly with depth of field.

Epic Games have also not only enhanced the base materials for greater flexibility—including new Color Correction controls—but added over 130 new high-quality materials in Fabric, Leather, Plastic, Metal, Glass, and a brand new Car Paint category. The 3D people have also been improved:

To install the latest version of Twinmotion, open the Epic Games launcher application on your computer. Then navigate to the twinmotion tab, select the latest version and then click install!
