---Updated 24/01/24---
The issue mentioned here is resolved in the latest Ci Tools release, which you can install using the Ci Tools installer.
Original details of the workaround are below:
We recently became aware of a problem with the Licensing of the Ci Tools with Update 27.1.1 of Archicad.
If you are using a Hardware license (i.e. a physical Codemeter dongle) along with the Ci Tools and Archicad 27.1.1, you will receive errors informing you that your Technical Preview version of the Tools has expired.
To make the Tools work again, you can install our upcoming update by using the links and instructions below
- Download for New Zealand Standard
- Download for New Zealand + Bracing
- Download for Australian Select Monthly
- Download for Australian Select Annual
- Download for Ci Tools Pro Subscription
- Download for Ci Tools Premium Subscription
Once you download the appropriate package, Unzip it (if it's not done automatically), and then navigate to the folder for your system ("Windows" for Windows 10 or 11, "Mac Intel" for a Mac with an Intel Processor, and "Mac ARM" for a Mac with an M1, M2, or M3 processor).
Then also find your Archicad 27 installation folder as well - it should be C:\Program Files\GRAPHISOFT\ARCHICAD 27 in Windows, or Macintosh HD\Applications\Graphisoft\ARCHICAD 27 in Mac OS
Before we start the installation, it's best to clear the current install of the tools out, so to do that, find the ARCHICAD 27\Add-Ons\CI Tools folder and delete that, and then also delete the ARCHICAD 27\ARCHICAD Library 27\Ci Tools Library 27
Once that's cleared out, install the updated tools by dragging the following folders from the Donwload into the corresponding folders in your Archicad 27
- Move the extracted CI Tools folder into your ARCHICAD 27\Add-Ons folder
- Move the extracted CI Tools Library 27 folder into your ARCHICAD 27\ARCHICAD Library 27 folder
