The Objective tool is a multifunctional tool that will extend your ability to model in 3D in ARCHICAD.
With Objective you have access to:
- Objective Library – containing highly editable timber framing and steel construction elements
- Object editing – includes:
- Rotating: Tilt or free-rotate Objects in sections or elevations
Watch a short video - Splitting: Split 3D Objects the same way you would split 2D elements in plan, section or elevation
Watch a short video - Bending: Take Objective Framing Objects with a constant cross section profile and bend to a curve in 2D or 3D
Watch a short video - Offsetting: take Objective Framing Objects with a constant cross section profile and offset it horizontally or vertically
- Extrusions – standard or custom profiles which can be extruded along 2D polylines or placed manually in 2D or 3D
- Slab Edges – five customisable profiles including counter edges, counter upstands, footings, rebated edges or steps which link to slab edges.
When using Objective to edit an Object, the original parameters of the Object are maintained. This means that even if you cut the Object into several small pieces, you can repair it at any time, taking it back to its original state (unlike when you convert an Object to a Morph).
