Release Notes - Update Canopus - April 2024

Released between March 28 and April 5th, this release for Archicad 27 includes the following:

For most of the tools mentioned, the only fix included is to make them compatible with the new Cloud Licenses available with Archicad Web-shop subscriptions, but Keynotes and Coverings include a large amount of fixes and changes, listed below:

Coverings 4.36

This is a major new update - full details are available here, but the main things to note are:

• Coverings are now constructed out of Building Materials, so you can schedule those like you would anything else without having to extract quantities using parameters and the like
• Due to the addition of the new Building materials settings, we've overhauled the entire UI - the main change being that rather than everything living in the Menu, there are now "tab" style buttons on each page:

• Handling of edge intersections on Roof Coverings is much smoother now, as is handling of Roof Edge angles
• The 'old' roof covering object is still available and can be used as-normal, but we would recommend that any New coverings you place be done using the new object

• Favourite display actually reflects the different settings accurately now, and is presented in a Style that makes it easy to see what the settings are

Keynotes 6.47

The Keynotes update includes a number of fixes - particularly around Scheduling and Renovation status of Labels included in schedules
