4.4 Calculated Measurements

Section 4.3 provides a basic overview for using recipes, but the measurement (counting the elements) is easy to achieve by other means. The real power of Quantities lies in richer expressions for determining how and when elements are measured. This section delves into resources of a BIM project that can be used for measurement.

Note that a complete reference of the available expressions is provided in section 7. This section provides some explanation or insight into the way BIM projects can be measured through calculations.
