How to Add a Cornice Moulding

Use the Ci Edge Moulding library-part to add a cornice moulding around the top edge of full-height or wall-mounted cabinets.

First, use Archicad's Profile Manager to define the profile of the moulding.

Double-click on the Cabinet tool in the Archicad toolbox, and select the Ci Edge Moulding library-part.

In the Custom Settings dialog, choose the profile you created. Set the Path to Split Edges, and Attributes to Custom.

Place the moulding into the model, and use hotspot editing to stretch it around the edges of the cabinet. This can be done in a plan or a 3D view.

• Use the hotspot on each vertex to move the vertex.
• Use the hotspot on each edge midpoint to split the edge into two.
• Move a vertex hotspot onto the previous or next vertex to remove an edge.
