The Work Environment adds the Ci Tool icons to your Toolbox, and sets up some other environmental settings. Without doing this, you won’t be able to access your tools from within ARCHICAD.
When you install the Ci Tools you should also install the Ci Work Environment (At the bottom of the Ci Installer window)
To set up the Work Environment when starting ARCHICAD for the first time:
When starting ARCHICAD for the first time, you will be prompted to select your Work Environment. Simply choose to use the Ci Work Environment by choosing the ‘Ci Tools Profile [version]’ from the installed Work Environment list.
To set up or change the Work Environment from within ARCHICAD:
Once installed in ARCHICAD go to Options> Work Environment> Apply Profile > Ci Tools Profile [Version]
This will set your current Work Environment to Ci Tools Profile [version]. You will see the change reflected in the ARCHICAD Toolbox.
Note: Only the tools you own will show in the toolbox. The Keynote tool uses the Label Tool.
